To provide an inspiring environment for knowledge and education, and to promote positive learning through healthy food, drinks, and art.
The Muses were Greek goddesses of literature, science, and the arts. Some say that there were originally three muses: one who is born from the movement of water, another who makes sound by striking the air, and a third who is embodied only in the human voice. They were named after Practice, Memory, and Song. We feel that this embodies the perfect atmosphere for positive learning. A place where people can practice their skills, embed knowledge into memory, and relax through song. At The Muse, we not only provide an inspiring atmosphere for knowledge and education, but we also promote self expression through different mediums, such as the domains of The Nine Muses. Poetry, music, song, love, dance, and comedy nights; we believe that all artistic performances are crucial to opening minds, and are catalysts to learning. In today’s world, the life of those wanting to learn is plagued by stress, anxiety, depression, and other forms of mental health issues. We want to shed light on this, and offer a place that is warm, welcoming, and inspiring. We believe that the message The Muses represent is a message that will help with positive and enjoyable learning. When asked what colour represented learning, people spoke about hues of light and luscious greens. However, when asked about which colour represented being a student, people spoke about darker hues of green. Through healthy food, drinks, and art, we hope to make that green just a bit lighter for everyone.
