Voting is now closed. Any appeals to the results must be sent to the CRO ([email protected]) no later than 4:00 pm Tuesday July 20th.
Written submissions appealing election or recount results shall contain the appellant's name, student number, telephone number and address, as well as a detailed explanation of the reason(s) for challenging the results. June 23 2021: Updated DAGS Election Timeline
According to the DAGS Election policy, candidates must submit the names of all campaign workers and their campaign platforms (personal website, blog, Facebook page, Instagram, etc.) to the Chief Returning Officer no later than 12 pm on the day prior to the commencement of the campaign period. As the end of the nomination period was on 21st June and DAGS received nominations until the evening of the 21st, there was no buffer period to receive campaigning material and platforms before the commencement of the campaigning period. After discussing this with the DSU Policy & Governance Coordinator, the CRO is delaying the campaigning period to June 24th at 8:00 am.
The new campaigning period will be June 24th to June 30th.
Voting will take place from July 5th to 6th.

DAGS 2021 Elections
The Dalhousie Association of Graduate Students (DAGS) is now conducting our annual elections of a new council. The election timeline can be found below. During the nomination period, nominees will require a minimum of two emails from Dalhousie graduate students who are DAGS members to support their prospect of governance and submit the completed nomination questionnaire form. Emails should be titled "DAGS Election Nomination" and include the name and B# of graduate student emailing, and be sent from Dal email address [within the domain of @dal.ca] to [email protected]. The following positions are open for nomination and a more detailed description of duties for each position can be found in our By-laws on dags.ca
