RE: LMS Review - Invitation to participate in the formal student evaluation
This message has been directed to inform all members of your student association that Dalhousie is currently embarking on a institutional review of our Learning Management System (Blackboard Learn).
As part of the review process, we will be undertaking a formal evaluation (testing different systems through hands-on testing and focus groups to determine the best system) through the help of the faculty and student body across the campus. Currently we are seeking 2 students from your academic society who are interested in providing valuable feedback during the evaluation process.
The testing sessions (3 sessions) are to begin in mid-October and expected last until the end of November, with each session expected to run for approximately 90 minutes each.
As time commitment is a key requirement for participation, each student will be offered a honorarium of $100.00 for his or her participation for whole duration. If any of your society members are interested in participating in Dalhousie’s first ever evaluation of a Learning Management System and want to have your voices heard, we would love to hear from you!
