Why some young Nova Scotians say they can't afford to stay in the province

Tiffany Campbell, PhD student at #DalhousieU shares her experience with housing affordability in the province. She highlights that Maritime Connection on CBC Radio One (FM 90.5 on traditional radio) is going to be doing a call-in show focusing specifically on graduate students.

She hopes that other (student's) perspectives and experiences can be platformed, especially for BIPOC, and international students who often face much harder pressures.

If anyone is interested, Maritime Connection airs from 4:05 p.m. to 5pm Sundays. To get in touch with the show: Talkback line: 1-800-565-1940.

The Nova Scotia Housing Needs Assessment is a recommended next step for students since the province should hear all voices, especially from those who are marginalized and most vulnerable.
